Someone asked me today what is NDSS

- NDSS stands for National Diabetes Services Scheme
- It is an initiative of the Australian Government administered by Diabetes Australia
- It delivers diabetes-related products ( such as blood glucose testing strips) at subsidised prices
- It also provides information and support services to people with diabetes.

Who can register?
- all Australians diagnosed with diabetes (include type I and type II diabetes and also women with gestational diabetes)

Medscheck and Diabetes Medscheck involve one-on-one consultation with our pharmacist at Prout's Pharmacy.

It's a 30 minute FREE consultation for YOU to discuss you medications with our pharmacists.

Our pharmacists will work together with you to ensure that you get the most out of your medications.

After the consultation, our pharmacists will also put together a medication list that is tailor made for you. 

A medication list will contain the list of the medications you take, the dosage instructions and the indication of the medications. The list will help you manage your medications better.
